Though it’s our respite from the ‘construction zone’, things are still very undone in here. The floors and walls are freshly painted (walls in Benjamin Moore’s Simply White and floors in Benjamin Moore’s Cloud 9), but we still need to get some trim on the new windows, find a carpet to fit, and move some decent furniture. Eventually we’ll need some bedside tables, a dresser or chest of drawers (assemble-able or small enough to fit up the tight staircase.) I think doing something built-in (a window seat or storage area) might be nice, too… though I know we don’t need any more projects!
I decked the mantle in assorted candleholders from Homegoods. They had really beautiful Mercury glass tea light holders and wood pillars (that still need candles on them, if you notice!) They’re great on our mantle for Fall, but I hope to swap them out seasonally.
Getting more used to our new windows, as well. 🙂 It’s been great to crack them open on these unseasonably warm (60-degree) days we’ve been having!
