Our Realtor has gotten back to us with the Market Analyses…

The 1980s Cape is, more or less, rightly priced for the market . Or for us – highly priced (at the ultimate top-of-range/uncomfortably priced) … and seems to be in accordance with other like properties in the area. Mrgh! We had an idea of how fabulous this place might be… our own little ‘Innisfree’… where we could setup house with little-to-no work and enjoy evenings lounging in our own pool.

But EXCELLENT NEWS: He feels the Antique Yellow/White House is OVERPRICED according to market findings. This is wonderful news to us, especially in the potential process of narrowing down an offer price, should we decide to go that route. If you haven’t already noticed, we *do* have a soft spot in our hearts for this place. I’ve been told by multiple people that the 80’s place was … ‘nice, but just not ‘US”.. and I wholeheartedly agree. I’m really working hard on holding back full emotions for this gorgeous property and all it’s potential… and we’re asserting this by going out this Friday again to see OTHER properties that might just be as amazing… or more so… than the Yellow/White house.
